My essay

Time management is an important subject to everyone. There's no doubt that we should teach our kids to use their time wisely. But what are the priority things to do? There comes up the debate. In the following passages, I'm going to present both sides of this issue and conclude by giving my own point of view.

Firstly, some people wish their kids spend spare time attending clubs and extra-curricular activities after school. It's believed that participating a group activities can help children learn communication and leadership skills by engaging with peers and hosting events together such as a pop music band or a basketball team. To play a perfect song or win that game together, they will have to learn how to play each's role and when to compromise with each other. On the other hand, attending a extra course not only can help youngster develop their interests and hobbies but also explore their future career path. For instance, by learning a second language after school might enhance students's cultural sensitivities and broaden their horizons. They won't be limited themselves only in the nation. Besides, the peers and members they meet in the club are of considerable benefit in their later careers.

However, in contrast, some people stand for the idea that children should spend their free time with family after school. Nowadays, adolescents are spending less time at home due to heavy study and they will barely have time for close relatives once they go to college. Therefore, it is vital for spending time together when they are still live at home. It's a good way to teach kids value family and create memories together by hosting regular family events which can not only bring joy but also build strong relationship with each other. In addition, parents can set good example for the youth by passing down the family tradition and core value and shape their personalities. Most importantly, showing them how to love and care by actions.

From my perspective, each side has their pros and cons. It's not a all or nothing question. Personally, I will take a more balanced view. A child can join a club with friends while spend time with parents too. It's possible to arrange the school's meeting on week days and go on a trip with family on the weekend. The main point of my view is to manage your time and schedule your events flexibly and wisely.
