There is a saying, " You are what you eat". It's imperative what you put into your body. If you can be healthy and save the planet at the same time? Why not!

Hi, welcome to my vegan blog post. Today I am gonna share with you guys how my vegan life style begins. What is that exact trigger point and how I feel after embracing the lifestyle.

"Non-violence leads to the highest ethics, which is the goal of all evolution. Until we stop harming all other living beings, we are still savages."-Thomas Edison

It all throw back to 2016

I was worked on holiday in Australia. At the time I had a part time job in a Chinese massage shop. That one time, one customer who was a tall and muscular man came into the shop for a deep tissue and relaxing massage. He was a Lumberjack so he would need a good massage. He looked so robust that I couldn't imagine he is a vegan. From my perspective at the time, a vegan can't be that muscular ,totally a stereotype by the way. It absolutely blew my mind. Not to mention he was talking about loving animals and the planet.

After I came home, I didn't think of the idea much. However, coincidentally I ran into one of my friend's post about how her vegetarian life had changed her and shared lots of videos and speeches about veganism . Amazingly, I watched them all. Somehow I just couldn't avoid my ignorance anymore which leading me to tons of documentaries. I will linked it below for you guys to check the information that I got. Highly encourage you to bring on all the conversations and learn with me.

It just starts

Shortly after, I decided to give it a go.But I kept it as a secret at the beginning, I knew I would possibly fail eventually cause I was such a foodie. It's kind of that I wanted a potential cop out in case I didn't make it. Anyhow, it was amazingly smooth, I ate well and felt awesome. Animal products seem never be an option again.

Difficulties

To be honest, there were obstacles for sure. At least not on my side, I can control well what I have. But being the only vegan in the families and amount friends, that's another story. Hopefully, I got fully support from families and friends. But I do hate colleague force me to eat what they think it's essential for MY body! However, compromise have to be made when meet clients at non-vegan restaurant. I'll just picking veggies out of dishes and have other thing else after.

Satisfied and happy

All in all, I become more aware of what I eat and feel wonderful and energetic. Currently, it's been three years and a half of this amazing journey. It's not 100% vegan lifestyle through the whole time, I did take animal products accidentally and some bread that include diary and eggs. Mostly 90% of my diet are vegan. I am telling you it was the best decision that I've ever made. If I can change a little bit to make this place a bit better. Then I would do it. That's my faith and I believe that I am doing the right thing. That's good enough for me.

Join me

I am not pushing anyone by any means, nor am I looking down on anyone who eat meats. As you know, most my friends are neither vegans nor vegetarians. After all, I prefer to influence them by showing them how happy I become. But I do highly recommend you guys to watched those videos and do your own research. It would be fun and you might like it.
