Researches have found that people better overcome fears by labeling them and talking about them rather than ignoring them.

I have fears too. To be frankly, I am afraid of doll. Especially those baby doll with vivid facial appearance. When I was a kid, I’ve seen a horror movie about a doll named Chucky. Ever since then, I never looked at a doll the same way again.

I remember I got nightmare that night after watching the movie. I throw all my dolls away because I was afraid they would kill me while I slept. I could never imagine why people on earth would buy that doll. It looked really creepy.

And I have another fear of insects. Especially spiders and cockroaches. They just scared me. I always got goose bumps when I saw them. I could not bare them in my room not in a minute. I wouldn’t sleep until I catch them. I got bad memories when it comes to them. When I was young, one night, I was hanging clothes at the house deck. All of a sudden, something just climbed to my back from my waist. It was so itching, so I grabbed it. It turned out to be a huge cockroach. I have to say, it was really disgusting. I became traumatized since then.

Other than that, I consider myself sort of brave. Some normal fears such as dark, height or ghost. I deal with them easily. I guess everyone has different weak spot. What’s your fear then? Have you ever thought of it? And how do you face it?
